What's YOUR Story?

We wrapped up our 4-week "Telling Your Science Story" course at University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine this week. Over the course of 4 weeks, we worked with 10 biomedical postdocs in intensive communications training on storytelling in science.

Here you can see the postdocs getting deep into 'describing data' and packaging it through storytelling in order to make it accessible to both scientific and non-scientific audiences. Not only do postdocs develop their presentation skills through storytelling, but they also build lasting relationships, fostering a sense of community and at times leading to interdisciplinary collaboration!

This mini course is offered in in person, virtual, and hybrid platforms and can be applied to graduate students, postdocs, and faculty, and supports any discipline, not just science communication- ask us about it!

We also now have a version for MDs to focus on research storytelling and the clinical space- ask us more about it!
